Submit Your Blog Into Search Engines
If you want to get traffic from search engines you should have to submit your blog into three main search engines including Google, MSN and Yahoo, and other small search engines will auto submit your blog because they use the Google database hope you understand here is how to submit.
For Google go to www.Google.com/webmaster and sign in with your email address and password and submit your blog URL into Google webmaster and then submit your sitemaps, simply go to sitemaps option in Google webmaster tool and insert this => feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated <= it will tell Google to submit your new post of blog whenever you publish a new post.
For Bing go to http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster/ do the same like above and yahoo will automatically find your blog post through bing webmaster.
Be Social
Start using social media be social , create a page on Facebook and add a like box in your blog to make your readers your blog fan, create an account on twitter and follow others and also add a follow me badge into your blog this is very nice practice to get high ranking in Google and also boost your blog traffic and also use new social networking sites like Google Plus is must because Google's algorithm is now also depending upon how many people recommend your post through Google plus will get more ranking if your post has more recommendations also use Pinterest,Myspace,hi5.
Build Backlinks
This is very effective to get more visitors, build backlinks for your blog from PR2,PR3,PR4,PR5,PR6 sites doing comments, bookmarking and forum posting it will be more better if you have quality of backlinks instead of quantity.
Update Daily
Think your a newbie you should have to update your blog daily post new articles daily related to your niche and write something unique if you don't know what to write subscribe blogs related to your niche from them you will get new ideas and read what are they writing stole their concept and write in your own words after sometime things will automatically comes in your mind to write on this topic to write on that topic this is just a game to satisfy your readers if they are satisfy Google will happy if Google is happy you will earn.
Learn Basic SEO
SEO is very important for every blog to keep your blog alive on web, you need to follow the basic rules of SEO otherwise your blog will be in grave, i am trying my best to share SEO tips read Basic SEO Tips for Beginners and follow the each and everything, if your on blogger.com you need to do something else if your on wordpress you have to do something else things are same but ways are different because platforms are different if you don't know about anything search on Google and read it first and then apply it on your blog correctly.
