There is many social networking websites, but i am going to write about Twitter,Facebook,GooglePlus and Pinterest, only but you can also use other social networking sites.
Presently most of bloggers are using twitter and getting traffic from it, but i am going to show you how to get advantage from it to increase your blog PR (Page Rank).

In the above screenshot you can clearly see twitter have 10 out of 10 Page Rank, when you create an account on twitter it will ask you for a username and a new webpage will be created with your username in URL (Your Twitter Account URL), let me give you an example this is my twitter account URL:twitter.com/BeingGulAhmed i am owner of this webpage and i have access to insert any text or links into my twitter account, my twitter account is 1 year old and i have above 3K followers now i can get a do follow back link from my twitter account but you can say the PR of my twitter profile is 0 ?? No its wrong below is screenshot of my twitter profile.
My twitter account have PR3 and getting a dofollow backlink from 3 PageRank webpage is not easy but through this process you can get, the webpage is based on twitter and twitter have PR10 it is another advantage of it.
How to get dofollow backlink??
In your twitter account setting option there is a box to insert your website and below it there is box of Bio.
the link you insert in website box it will be nofollow, you need to insert your blog link with description in Bio box and it will be dofollow.
Check backlinks of my blog on alexa first backlink is from twitter and its dofollow, newly created accounts may have 0 PR, but in few months your account's PR will be increase.
Google Plus
Google Plus have 9 PR out of 10 and its growing like a plant, now a days everyone is joining Google plus to get higher traffic from Google search engines as well, now create a profile or a page of your blog and communicate with other bloggers and friends, using Google Plus within few months you will get above 2 PR of your page on Google Plus and do the same explained above.
Below is screenshot of a Google Plus of MybloggerTricks and its have PR 3.
Again do the same create an account and pin all your blog posts and insert Pinterest Pin button into your blog and always pin new posts when you publish within few months your Pinterest account PR will increase, because these pages are sub pages of main websites with 9,10 PR's hope your understanding my point.

Facebook is King of social networking sites, you must have a page or a group of your blog on Facebook, it will not only increase your blog ranking but it will also increase your blog traffic if you have a page on Facebook with only 10 thousand fans you can make $100/month easily.
